Past:
She and her sister, Lightning Opal, were the last gems made in a kindergarten in Australia. They lived alone, and only had each other. One day, Moonstone kidnapped Green Pearl and took her back to homeworld. She never saw Lightning Opal again, until thousands of years later. She eventually became Moonstone's best friend, even though she took her away from her sister.
